CFMS releases results for next generation High-Order CFD Prototype

Bristol, 28th September 2016 - The Centre for Modelling & Simulation (CFMS) is pleased to announce that the Hyperflux high order CFD solver prototype is now available at CFMS for industrial and research evaluation. Based on next generation High-Order Flux Reconstruction (HO/FR) CFD methods, the software is the product of a two year research programme with grant assistance from Innovate UK and EPSRC. »

CFMS to lead Future Engineering System Research Project

With a project value of £4.22m, FES began on 1st April 2016 and will run for three years, completing in 2019. The project is supported by the joint industry and government aerospace R&D funding programme, delivered as a partnership between the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS), the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) and Innovate UK. »

Learn about High Order CFD: CFMS Hyperflux Workshop

With many organisations eager to learn more about high-order CFD and try out the method on realistic test cases, CFMS and partners will be holding a free workshop on 11th October 2016, 10.00 - 16.00 hrs, which will outline the high-order method, describe what has been implemented in the code base and show how to set up and run test cases for aerospace, automotive, maritime, civil and renewables engineering. »
