The Centre for Modelling & Simulation (CFMS) has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer with a proven track record within a technology-based business environment.  CFMS is an independent, not-for-profit specialist in digital engineering capability. As a trusted and neutral provider, our vision is to be the recognised, digital test bed for the design of high value engineering products and processes. We seek an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team.

The Systems Engineer will have the knowledge, expertise and capability to model artefacts in the system engineering lifecycle, including but not limited to: stakeholder requirements, system function, system architecture, product modelling and test strategies. Additionally, a firm understanding of modelling and simulation methodologies, techniques and tools used throughout the system engineering design lifecycle is required. Key responsibilities include;

  • Work with the lead technologist to develop, implement and test system architecture solutions for CFMS customers
  • Contribute to project reports and presentations
  • Present technical project findings at conferences or in project meetings
