Airbus Endeavr is a joint initiative between Airbus and the Welsh Government to support innovation. Endeavr exists to help innovative ideas become reality, funding the development of early stage research to the point where commercial value can be achieved.

Working in partnership with Cardiff University (plus other academic institutes and innovative small businesses) Airbus Endeavr is committed to the research of technologies in the fields of Digital Services, AI for Productivity and Secure Connectivity.

The aim is to support innovation, acceleration and growth through collaboration in these areas, with the ultimate goal of creating future jobs and accelerating the Welsh economy.

This event will explore how Airbus Endeavr is working with SMEs, Academics and other partners on innovative Research and Technology (R&T) projects which address roadmap challenges. Speakers from the University, Airbus Endeavr and industry will outline the impact of AI and data on innovation and highlight success stories, challenges and key areas of opportunity.

Additionally, Cardiff University has recently joined the SETSquared Scale Up Programme, a funding initiative which helps high-growth SMEs to develop their Research and Development (R&D) capabilities and exploit the University’s cutting-edge facilities and academic talent.
