After more than ten years with CFMS, our current Head of Engineering Computer Sciences (ECS) Nathan Harper has taken the decision to take on a new career challenge, continuing to work within the HPC and AI community in Bristol. We are delighted that his skills and capability developed at CFMS remain within the ICT community in the region.
With immediate effect, our IT Security Specialist John Reid will be taking over Nathan’s responsibilities as Head of the ECS team and primary contact for all CFMS customers and suppliers.
Other changes to our team include Guy Johns promotion to CFMS Chief Technologist with overall responsibility for delivery of our integrated programme of research and Darren Everley promoted to a new position of Chief Solutions Architect to help define our future IT strategy.
Both Guy and Darren bring many years of experience to their new roles which will strengthen the management team as we move into a new phase of CFMS evolution.
We would like to thank Nathan for his contribution to the business and wish him, John, Guy and Darren well in their new roles.
