Hosted by the Centre for Modelling & Simulation (CFMS), Applied Computing & Engineering (ac&e) will be holding a Model Based Engineering Workshop, taking place on 22nd September 2016.
ModelCenter® by Phoenix Integration is the framework for Model Based Engineering (MBE). This software suite allows users to integrate software tools into an automated workflow, exploring product design space, and organising the resulting data and knowledge.
In this workshop, delegates will learn how ModelCenter® improves productivity, innovation, and collaboration between engineering teams, covering two main themes.
A Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach that enables accurate performance estimation during the conceptual design phases.
Democratisation of advanced simulation methods thanks to modern web technologies and simplified means of access.
With the opening session hosted by Anthony Mosquera, AC&E, the workshop will demonstrate the ModelCenter® environment in action, and present lessons learned from application of the technology to the aerospace (Airbus Space & Defence) and manufacturing sectors (Karl Mayer).
The event is free to attend and delegates can register here to secure a place.
