Engine Shed is hosting a Finance Briefing: Is crowdfunding still an alternative source of finance? Taking place on 14th September 2016, 16.00 - 17.30pm at Engine Shed, Bristol, delegates are invited to attend the third in its finance series with a panel of luminaries assessing the current state of maturity of crowdfunding.
Crowdfunding has grown significantly over the last few years - with many of the pioneers emanting from the innovation-rich south west of England. In this panel delegates will hear from a number of established crowd-funding sites, a crowd-funding enabler and a seasoned angel investor. The event is chaired by someone who has been watching the early-stage investment space for many years - Modwenna Rees-Mogg, Co-founder, Crowdrating; Founder-CEO, Angel News & Exec Chairman, The Pluralists Club, who will be joined by Darren Westlake - CEO, CrowdCube, Henrik Ottosson - Senior Advisor, Invesdor and Kirsty Ranger - Founder & CEO, IdeaSquares and Founder, Crowd-10.
