CFMS Member Ansys will be running its Product Innovation through Engineering Simulation Series with an optional hands-on workshop. One of a number in this series, it takes place on 16th May 2018 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
The event series will take place at the following locations: Bristol (13 February), Aberdeen (1 March), Derby (21 March), Warrington (11 April), Coventry (16 May), Glasgow (13 June), Southampton (4 July), Sheffield (8 August), Cambridge (12 September).
These half-day seminars will showcase how engineering simulation is a great enabler for product innovation. Successfully implemented, it allows engineers to simulate and predict, with high precision, the performance of their ideas and designs throughout the development process. Integrating engineering simulation into the development process can help to:
Save time in delivering products to your customers
Reduce risk and avoid costly disappointments
Improve and optimise product performance
Reduce the costs associated with the full design process
After the presentations and software demonstrations, attendees are welcome to attend an optional hands-on workshop where, with the assistance of ANSYS technical staff, they will guided through a choice of simulation tutorials.
The focus of this series of events are related to engineering simulation for:
Structural, Thermal, Fluid Flow, Fluid Structural Interaction
Alternative events will be hosted for electromagnetic simulation.
Who Should Attend?
Engineers and their management with an interest in engineering simulation for structural, thermal and fluid flow related applications. The hands-on session provides potential users the ability to try the software on relevant tutorials and time-permitting on their own application for simulation.
