The Centre for Modelling and Simulation (CFMS) will be participating in OpenCo Bristol and Bath. Hosted by Bristol and Bath Science Park, attendees will have the opportunity to collaborate with executives, investors, and entrepreneurs from the growing South West tech hub.
Shining the spotlight on Bristol and Bath’s most tech savvy and innovative organisations, Jamil Appa, Lead Technologist, CFMS will be presenting ‘From Consumer Gaming Technology to Industrial Revolution’ which takes a look at the evolution of consumer technology into other sectors beyond gaming, driven by the digital revolution.
Hosted for the first time in the UK and across cities simultaneously, OpenCo is described as ‘a mashup of an open studio tour and a tech conference’. Hosts will share vision, inspiration and success stories from their industry sectors. With free admission, attendees can pick which of the presentation sessions they would like to attend.

The event commences on the evening of 1st October with a drinks launch, followed by the main event on 2nd October at Bristol and Bath Science Park.
