The Centre for Modelling and Simulation (CFMS) will be participating in Venturefest Bristol and Bath. Held at The Passenger and Engine Shed, Bristol, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with some of the most innovative and enterprising companies in the South West.
Shining the spotlight on Bristol and Bath’s most innovative organisations, David Standingford, Lead Technologist, CFMS will be presenting details of some of its recent projects, as part of the Innovation Showcase for Advanced Engineering.
The aim of Venturefest is to celebrate the region’s position as an unrivalled global centre for innovation and investment opportunities and also act as channel for dynamic new ideas and thought leadership. It will also showcase the region’s most successful sectors: advanced engineering; high tech, ICT and microelectronics; digital and creative; and city innovation. The event will also have a particular focus on the role of innovation in sustainability and green technology as Bristol celebrates its year as European Green Capital.
Sam Paice, Chief Operating Officer, CFMS: “Venturefest Bristol and Bath will provide valuable insight into the richness of innovation present in the South West. CFMS is delighted to be participating in Venturefest and we look forward to sharing best practice and collaborating with attendees.”
