Taking place on 21st -23rd November 2016, The Centre of Modelling & Simulation (CFMS) will be hosting the seventh annual Airbus Flight Physics Distributed R&T Partnership (DiPaRT) event at Bristol and Bath Science Park. UK academic and research organisations are invited to submit presentation abstracts covering specific topics, which are listed on the DiPaRT event portal, accessed through the CFMS website.
Bringing together the UK Flight Physics R&T community to share research and learn about industry developments, the event commences on 21st November with a series of keynote talks addressing Flight Physics R&T at a UK and European level, followed by an evening reception and networking.
The Airbus Flight Physics Symposium taking place between 22nd – 23rd November will comprise of a number of presentations from the UK Flight Physics Research Community that address technologies, capabilities and research ideas relevant to future wing design and operation.
To submit a proposed symposium presentation abstract, a short description of up to 500 words and an accompanying title is required. The deadline for the receipt of submissions is 23rd September 2016 and must be uploaded through the DiPaRT event portal. The final Symposium Programme will be announced on 21st October 2016.

The Centre for Modelling & Simulation (CFMS) is proud to be a growing, independent and not-for-profit organisation that specialises in high value design capability. We promote advanced modelling and simulation, underpinned by HPC, pushing the boundaries of technology.
Through our exceptional, collaborative, virtual and physical facility, we enable the adoption and acceleration of new technologies for advanced modelling and simulation, while improving learning and developing awareness of state-of-the-art. Engaging with organisations large and small, we help to provide access to the right tools, resources, skills and technologies, resulting in increased productivity and faster, more informed decision-making.
As a trusted and neutral provider, our vision is to drive a practical revolution in engineering capability and design, working with organisations to reduce risk in the design phase, product development costs and time to market.

DiPaRT has been created by Airbus as a mechanism for communicating with, engaging and orchestrating the UK Flight Physics R&T community. The aim is to foster a coherent, well informed and motivated partnership that can help Airbus effectively deliver its strategic vision for a UK capability, supporting design and integration of wings, landing gear and associated systems. Following the establishment of the UK Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) this remit acquires a special significance.
