The automotive sector relies heavily on trained individuals to conduct inspections – a high volume, repetitive process – but through Artificial Intelligence (AI), we can achieve a more efficient and streamlined solution to visual inspection. Our Deep Learning Proof of Concept (PoC) demonstrator is designed to automatically process vehicle images from the end of the production line, performing a number of inspections. This approach reduces both the time and cost involved, whilst positively impacting output and productivity, and reducing the potential for manual error.
