We’re looking for a highly motivated individual with experience and expertise in Terraform & Ansible to deliver exciting enterprise automation projects to customers in secure private/public hybrid cloud environments. This role will see you developing and maintaining automated deployment systems and automated infrastructure deployment pipelines.

Senior DevOps Engineer
Department: Engineering Computing Services
Reporting to: Head of Engineering Computing Services

Hours: Full-Time (37 hours a week)

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated individual who can leverage their expertise in Terraform, Ansible and RedHat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP/AWX) to deliver enterprise automation projects for customers in secure private/public hybrid cloud environments.

Research Engineer
Department: Model-Based Engineering
Reporting to: Head of Engineering
Employment: Permanent
Hours: Full-Time (37 hours a week)

The Research Engineer will work to develop, implement and test numerical models. They will engage with prospective and existing customers, contributing to bids and project scoping. They will contribute to the development of new algorithms, methods, and tools to address engineering and simulation challenges, as well as deliver project reports and presentations.

You will have knowledge and awareness of modelling and simulation tools and methodologies, experience collaborating with clients, leading technical and non-technical discussions, and translating customer requirements into viable project plans. You will also have knowledge of programming and experience in writing numerical simulations in code.

Senior Research Engineer
Department: Model-Based Engineering
Reporting to: Head of Engineering
Employment: Permanent
Hours: Full-Time (37 hours a week)

The Senior Research Engineer will be focused on working with customers to identify, capture and refine requirements, convert this into a simulation architecture and lead the development of novel simulations to solve engineering challenges across a range of domains. They will take ownership of projects, planning and delivering them in coordination with the team’s project manager.

This role is suitable for an individual with at least 5 years of experience in working with customers to solve engineering challenges in an industrial environment. You’ll have a strong technical background in maths, physics, engineering or applied computing, and have experience with planning, managing and delivering projects.
