Following an extensive career in finance, working in the professional service sector her role at CFMS places Sam responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of the business development, marketing and technical departments.

With over 20 years’ experience in technical engineering across the space, aerospace and robotics industries, Dr Woods joins the CFMS board with an impressive array of industry-leading accolades including the first-of-a-kind development of autonomous robotic and artificial intelligence (AI) elements for the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Mars exploration programme including its first robotic mission to Mars, called ExoMars.

With over 20 years’ experience in the software and aerospace industry, Guy Johns leads the technical team, whilst working with clients to develop a through-life system engineering model and framework. He is also responsible for the technical strategy of the company.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the Aerospace, Cyber Security and Defence industries, John Reid leads the ECS team providing specialist and secure IT functions including HPC, Private Cloud and many other advanced capabilities, together with consultancy to our clients.

Head of Digital Engineering

With a doctorate in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Alex leads the team of engineers at CFMS, applying his expertise in simulation and high performance computing to a range of sectors. Alex’s research interests are in multi-scale multi-physics simulations, NDT and generalised simulation methodologies for requirements driven design and optimisation.
