Non-destructive testing is a cost and time effective way to assess equipment for damage, accelerating its introduction to service. Using ultrasound and x-rays, we can inspect the internal structure of equipment across a range of materials and industries. This example considered pipe health, detecting patches of corrosion and assessing the wall thickness of pipes – essential to prevent a potentially catastrophic rupture across a range of industries.
