The use of immersive technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR) technology, are now being readily used within industry. In the digital engineering sector, we can look at how this can be used to virtually investigate and evaluate engineering propositions and choices. We have produced a demonstration on how CFMS is using VR to enhance the services we already offer, providing the ability to visualise potential outcomes and reduce uncertainty in evolving design concepts through improved collaboration. This provides a cost-effective solution that increases productivity and enables timely and collaborative presentation of complex engineering data.
