The third SMMT Connected conference is taking place 4th April 2019 at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, London. 

The full day conference will bring together more than 450 senior level representatives from OEMs and wider automotive industry, technology, government and the media. With a combination of keynote sessions and panel discussions, the event will enable the analysis of the potential advancements for mobility. The panel will discuss:

  • Smart Mobility

  • Mobility and Data

  • Connectivity and Logistics

  • Smart Mobility for Planning a Connected Future: An International Perspective

The event will also offer UK automotive and technology sectors the opportunity to showcase the latest advancements through the technology showcase and a display of the latest vehicles.

The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, The Rt Hon Greg Clark MP, will be delivering a keynote speech at SMMT Connected.

The agenda also includes insights from:

  • Dr Andy Palmer, President and Group CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda will deliver a keynote speech. Andy will discuss Aston Martin Lagonda’s developments in zero-emissions, connected & autonomous technology and where these fit within the company’s future plans.
  • Agustín Martín, CEO of the new London-based company Toyota Connected Europe (TCEU), will deliver one of the keynote speeches at the event. TCEU will support the growing adoption of new mobility businesses in Europe with products and services tailored to the unique needs of the market.
  • Serkan Arslan, Director of Automotive, NVIDIA Europe, will explore how developing autonomous vehicles is one of the biggest technical challenges ever – from the technical infrastructure, software development and the need to test these technologies in simulation and roads.
